Our 1 Day tour Discover Kanchanaburi gives you the chance to experience the historical places of interest in Kanchanaburi. After we picked you up from your accommodation in Bangkok, the tour will take you by longtail boat on the famous River Kwai to visit the famous Bridge Over The River Kwai, an allied war cemetery and the informative JEATH War Museum. You will also visit the Kao Poon limestone cave, situated within a temple complex.
After a relaxing lunch break, we will take you to the world famous Tiger Temple. This wildlife project was established in 1995 by local monks who care for abandoned wild animals such as tigers, deer, water buffaloes, horses and peacocks. This unique opportunity allows you to get close to some of Thailand's native animals and support the temple to continue this valuable project. |
